Multi-faceted power supports with upper cable supply

In Russia, supports with upper cable supply (power supports) have a broad use. During the past 10 years, there is a trend of transition from
expensive, heavy, old pipe supports to the multifaceted power
supports which are easier, cheaper and more aesthetic. Together with leading experts of
Russian institutes METAKO developed polyhedral cone bearings for the upper cable supply and tested it at the polygon " НТЦ РАО ЕЭС " RF ОРГРЭС (ORGRES) in Khotkovo.

MC supports are designed for functional lighting of areas car parks, gas stations, road intersections, streets and roads with high, medium and low traffic, yards, embankments, avenues, boulevards, public gardens, cottage settlements. Supply of the main cable is in the air (air supply) to the top of the support, where there is a hole with a diameter of 20 mm.

Installation methods:
МС -хФ-х- flange support installed on a standard metal foundation (ФМ). Connection of support and ФМ is using by flange bolts or studs.
МС -хГ-х- straight support is installed in a prepared (drilled) hole and then underpour.
Coverage – hot-dip galvanizing ГОСТ 9.307-89
