Multi-faceted contact systems power supports for tram and trolleybus line

In Russia, there is rapid rate of reconstruction of city streets and squares; people
dismantle the old and install new bearings designed for suspension catenary public transport (trams and trolleybuses). Jointly with specialists of leading Russian institutes METAKO designed multifaceted conical bearings and tested in polygon «НТЦ РАО ЕЭС» RF, ОРГРЭС (ORGRES) in Khotkovo. MKC type supports came to replace the expensive, heavy, obsolete tubular supports.
MKC supports are designed for suspension of contact system of urban transport,
СИП (mains supply source) installation, functional lighting for areas, road junctions,
roads with high, medium and low traffic, embankments, avenues, boulevards. Power cable supply is in the air (air supply) to the top of support, where there is a hole with a diameter of 20 mm.

Installation methods:
МКС-хФ-х - flange support intalled on a standard metal foundation (ФМ). Connection of support and ФМ is using by flange bolts or studs.
МКС-хГ-х - straight support is installed in a prepared (drilled) hole and then underpour.
Coverage – hot-dip galvanizing ГОСТ 9.307-89
